  • Improve filesystem interoperability for UFS filesystems between NetBSD and FreeBSD, allowing each OS to mount UFS disks created by the other in read-write mode.

  • Implement/improve read/write EXT4 support NetBSD and FreeBSD so that these OSes can mount and operate on EXT4 disks created by GNU/Linux.

Key deliverables here are robust regression test suites with good test coverage.
